After a 1-1 draw with Tajikistan, China U-17 suffered a 5-3 defeat to Australia. After conceding four goals within the first 25 minutes, China narrowed the gap with a goal from Kuai Jiwen and a second  from Wang Yudong. Australia sealed the victory with a fifth goal during injury time
